I guess the short version is:  I am married with four children and two beautiful grandchildren that I totally adore!  I have worked the past 20+ years in fortune 500 companies as a director of operations/office manager/HR/accounting...  and the list goes on and on...  But my true passion is and always was photography.

I was gifted my first camera by my grandfather when I was only 8 years old, and he taught me in such a fun way that it was so much better than any classroom had taught me.  From his teachings besides all of the "the iso this, and the shutter speed that" talk was more valueable that I can put into words.  Yes we took pictures of all sorts of stuff, be had always challenged me.  Not to make the beautful = beautiful, but rather take the ugly and make it beautiful.  And from there I was hooked!  

My passion in photography was amped up into a constant stream of free customers, which eventually became a very successful business: Freezeframe Photography - an adventure that went on for over 10 years. BC Custom Photography is my new incarnation of the same creative idea, just in a different format.

I am the primary photographer and owner at BC Custom Photography.   I have a pretty laid back personality and will create a relaxed atmosphere and give you a chance to be yourself. We will capture your day or event with attention to every detail, as if we're shooting photos for a publication of a cover of a magazine.

Kelly has been drawn to photography since childhood. After spending several years following friends and family around at their weddings with her camera, she would leave feeling frustrated at the lack of creativity and number of opportunities the paid photographer missed. She realized that she has a passion for capturing people and events. She has art directed photo shoots, posed as a model in publications like the Penny Saver in CA, and the largest shoot was for Stedson Calon.  Hung out on location with photographers just to learn more about the process. In addition, has taken classes in photography to learn the fundamentals. She knows how to develop prints in a dark room, but prefers the convenience and flexibility of digital photography.

At BC Custom Photography we offer HD customized and artistic photography. Professional high quality product and personable/friendly/outgoing customer service.

We have the flexibility to incorporate your environment/hobbies into any image to give you that perfect picture that you are looking for. Our experience at putting our clients at ease is key to the creation of photographs that convey confidence, assurance, and relaxed success.

We have worked very hard to create a studio environment that is designed to help you feel comfortable before, during and after the session. We even went a step further and can go on location with a portable studio and as long as you have a 10 x 20 area and an outlet, you can have a full-blown studio at your disposal! This works great for persons that are disabled, or families with children, or persons that just can’t get to our studio… either way, the photos are the same! We service within the Washington County Area at no charge. For an additional fee we will travel throughout SE Wisconsin.

I bet your wondering… is all they do is studio work?? The answer is no: We also offer out door photography, or combo sessions (studio and outdoor). Again, we service within the Washington County Area at no charge. But, for an additional fee we will travel throughout SE Wisconsin.

But that’s not all – Additional items that we have are: a licensed beautician, and make up artist. They are included in the Glam shots package, but they can be hired for any additional needs of our clients too, either together or separate. 

We also have and exciting new item - Green screen technology (that’s where you stand in front of a “green screen”) – but in your picture, you could be jumping over the moon – or surfing on a fish in a raging river! Or maybe you would just like to be simple and be standing in front of the pyramids in Egypt or on a beautiful beach in the Caribbean! The possibilities are endless! And we are up to the challenge!
